Here are answers to some of the most commonly asked questions we receive. If you have a question that's not answered here, please contact customer service 303.278.8600.


WHY DID YOU MISS MY TRASH TODAY?

1. Your trash was not out when the driver went by.
2. We are on a holiday schedule this week.
3. Due to inclement weather we were unable to service your road today.


HOW OFTEN ARE MY RESIDENTIAL RECYCLABLES PICKED UP?

Effective January 2011 our recycling service changed to every other week. If you do not have a current calendar please let us know and we will provide you with one


DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?

Yes, we accept all major credit cards excluding American Express.


HOW DO I KNOW WHICH HOLIDAYS YOU OBSERVE?

We observe the following holidays:New Years, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Our holiday schedule is also listed on the back of all of our billing statements and on our website.


WHY DO YOU NOT COME BACK OR CREDIT MY ACCOUNT WHEN ROADS ARE NOT ACCESSIBLE DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS?

Our rates are based on volume rather than number of pick ups per month. Therefore, when we get to your house the following week, we are taking double the volume and being charged for it at the landfill.


WHY DO YOU NOT OFFER EVERY OTHER WEEK SERVICE?

It is very confusing to both you the customer and our drivers to maintain the proper on week service schedule.


WHY DO YOU CHARGE FOR LARGER OR UNUSUAL ITEMS?

Items such as furniture and appliances are not considered normal household volume and therefore an extra charge will be assessed.


DO YOU TAKE PAINT OR MOTOR OIL?

We are not able to accept these two items as they are considered hazardous waste. We suggest calling Jeffco Chemical Waste (303) 316-6262 for more information on how to dispose of these items.


WHAT HAPPENS IF MY COMMERCIAL CONTAINER IS BLOCKED?

We will attempt to reach someone on site to notify them of the problem. If we are unable to do so, we will try and reschedule your container for pick up.


IF I FORGET TO PUT MY TRASH OUT, CAN YOU COME BACK ANOTHER DAY AND GET IT?

There are many times that we are able to come back depending on your location. Just give our office a call and they will be happy to assist you. (303)-278-8600. Please note that if a special pick up is done, an added charge may be assessed.


WILL YOU PICK UP AN OLD WASHER AND DRYER?

Yes we will, but you must call our office before your scheduled pick up day and there will be an additional charge.


DO YOU TAKE ANIMAL CARCASSES?

We are not able to accept animal carcasses of any kind

Holiday and Inclement Weather Schedule

We observe these holidays:
• New Years Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day


If the holiday falls on a weekday, that day and the remainder of that week will run one day late. We will run on regular schedule during all other holidays.

Inclement Weather:
We will contact you by phone to inform of alternate pickup schedules due to bad weather.
